$20 BETA ACCESS // LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP

(switching to $20 annual subscription as the destination list grows, timing TBD - how’s that for breaking every psychological pricing rule in existence?)

  • Custom travel plans designed to maximize your time at the top destinations - along the way I’ll share tips and insights I learned from years in the travel industry and more than 2 million miles on the road.

  • Full library access to the entire digital guidebook collection. These downloadable travel plans are formatted for mobile and work offline (almost like a real book!)

  • Downloadable in Excel, CSV, and smart PDF’s.

  • Detailing the personal equipment I rely on, portfolio of mobile apps, and how-to article collection covering gear / planning / advice / software & mapping.

  • Joining now in beta makes you a member for life, because it’s best not to forget those early true supporters. I’m not a real smart guy, but one thing I do know is that anything good needs a lot of feedback from those willing to share it. When I feel like I’m ready to jump to the next phase, I’ll change the revenue model to correspond with value provided.

Get lost in one of these 17 trips of a lifetime from my personal collection of favorites. These extensively researched and actually travelled set of plans await your arrival.

The National Parks

Hundreds of America’s best ideas are just waiting for you to arrive. Before trying to knock off all 63 (some of which you would need a floatplane or boat to visit), why don’t you expand your pallet and encompass the whole of the NPS system, made up of over 400 parks and national monuments, national grasslands and national forests spanning all 50 states. Bring a tent, sleep in your car, just get in on the calendar!

My personal curated collection of favorite campgrounds with honest reviews of the good, bad, and ugly. Dedicated categories for 4WD Overlanding vs. 2WD, RV, bring a tent, sleep on the ground - don't matter just get there.

The annual rankings of travels “best-of” lists and awards are all bullshit (ask me how I know). As a considered alternate, I present my mathematically absent list of unranked Best Hotels of the World. A color coordinated credit card goes a long way here. This is my list of global hotel & resort favorites (and the only content outside the USA currently). If you’re ready to evaporate local currency faster than you can spell five star - come on in, the water is fine.

These trips dont’ make themselves - here’s all the content related to gear I actually use, apps to make life on the road a hell of a lot easier, and a host of content to help you choose the right travel camera, tent, overland rig and anything else your American Express can authorize.

“I heard most of the advice was bullshit”

“Bad writing - some of the spots are legit”

“Just a list of expensive hotels and places to sleep in your truck”

My Dad, a Delta employee loading me on my first solo flight from Atlanta, GA to Asheville, NC at the age of 9 in 1997.

The anti-influencer

Long time traveller // first time creator

Complete with embarrassing origin photo. Since that first solo trip in 1997, I’ve stumbled through three dozen countries and all 50 49 states (Hawaii). Most of the time, I had the privilege of following people with a passion for flashin authentic, slower travel where - and watch out for this one - you might actually learn something along the way.

I’m no expert, and that’s not humility (it quite literally couldn’t be as I charge you money to access this members-only section), I’m just being upfront with you. Why paywall? In the age of AI, I’m not interested in a platform I don’t have control over and would rather be brutally honest in my advice and reviews. For a twenty dollar bill you have access for life - welcome to the future.

Devils Tower, Wyoming

“What’s more remarkable than anything is how vast the wilderness is here. To really see the park could take a lifetime of trips - here’s how we split our time across 5 nights.”

The Grand Prismatic // Yellowstone National Park
