While working on regular assignments for the paper, I also am responsible for shooting “LO’s” or Lines Only. Stand along features or otherwise nice pictures that can run in the paper in the event that a story falls through. They rarely use them but they sure are fun to shoot. Most of them I have found within five minutes of my front door but here are a few from the past week. Just a note, if you get tired of looking at beautiful scenery that God created for us here on earth, better stop looking now. I wish I could post something that I’ve been working on for the paper but I have to wait till it runs. Until then,
A kayaker paddles into the Pudget Sound during one of Seattle’s record high temperature day’s last week.
Occasionally a Seal shows up where I go to shoot each night. I think he’s waiting for me to leave so he can go to sleep on the rocks.
It’s amazing to watch huge boats navigate the sound.
Cause I’m not jealous of their life at all….
Susan walking out on the rocks during her visit last week.
The kayakers head home after an evening of paddling.
A storm rolls in over discovery park as the sun goes down over the Olympic mountains.
Typical Seattle weather. One minute it’s nice and sunny, the next thing you know a huge storm cloud is taking over the sky.
I saw my first bald eagle yesterday… enough said.
There’s something really beautiful about watching a bald eagle fly over the pacific.
Love all your pictures!
WOW! The lighthouse shot and the sailboat shot are my favorites! All of them are breathtaking
Wonderful! Love looking at the photos. Keep up the good work.
Nice shots. I especially like the eagle and the sunsets.

I’m a little jealous of their life too. I can’t wait to come visit you! It’s all so gorgeous.
Do not get tired of looking at pictures of God’s Creations–Keep it up; make a calendar; make a coffee table picture book, etc. You have a good eye!
